My MBSR-courses are certified here: Zentrale Prüfstelle Prävention. This means you might be eligible for a subsidy. You can discuss this with your statutory or private health insurance company. After completing the course and participating in at least 80% of the course units, you will receive a certificate of participation, which you can submit to your health insurance company to apply for the subsidy.

No experience is required to participate in an MBSR-course. Please note that an MBSR course can supplement but not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.
MBSR stands for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. It is an 8-week program developed by the American molecular biologist Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University Hospital of Massachusetts. Since then, MBSR programs have become very popular and have been used in various settings (e.g. clinical, corporate). Study results show that regularly practicing mindfulness can lead to greater physical and mental well-being.
An MBSR-course aims at strengthening our inherent ability to being mindful. For this purpose, various mindfulness exercises are presented and practiced, such as
